Dear SAC Members & Friends, 

On Thursday last, the 6th, a spacious group came to the radiantly lovely quarters of Sunrise 56, to celebrate SAC’s annual meeting. With wine & champagne as well ultra-tasty appetizers being served. Adding to the festivities, was the music provided by the talented singers of Utopia Opera.

On the serious side, the members were briefed by Councilman Keith Powers on the ongoing issues concerning our neighborhood. Also present was Captain Fisher of the 17th precinct, who endeavored to allay the concerns of the membership concerning crime in our area. Sutton Place, as he pointed out, is perhaps the safest area in all of Manhattan, if not the entirety of New York City. Relating to matters statewide, was Ms. Sophie Secor of Assemblyman Alex Bores staff. In short, a good and Informative time was had by all. We strongly urge that all our members and friends endeavor to attend next year’s meeting.
