About SAC

In 1976, a small group of volunteer residents got together to preserve the unique spirit that infuses Sutton Place. Two years later, they incorporated it as a non-profit (501C3) organization. Decades later, we are still preserving what we love and expanding what the Sutton Area Community (SAC) is capable of.

Today, SAC serves as a voice for the community. We monitor city services such as police, sanitation, fire, and transportation. With an eye towards the past, we are concerned about fostering historic preservation while also looking ahead at local zoning and development. Above all, we are here to keep you informed about what’s going on where you live and work.

Always keeping in mind the importance of the area’s rich history, SAC has always been interested in collecting and sharing archival information through publications.

Please contact us and find out how you can be a part of SAC!
