A proposed cannabis dispensary of approximately 2,000 square feet at 998 and 1000 First Avenue poses a serious threat to the family-friendly character of Sutton Place. The proposed location is directly across from two vital early childhood institutions:

• The Montessori School of New York International, 347 East 55th Street
• NY Kids Club – Sutton Place, 401 East 55th Street

🚨 Why This Matters:

New York State cannabis regulations prohibit dispensaries within 500 feet of schools and 200 feet of houses of worship.

Allowing a cannabis retail location next to these facilities is not in the best interest of our community or our children.
