Town Hall meeting, January 11, 2024

Per Senator Gonzalez, (Town Hall meeting host), the decision of whether this project will go forward or not, is far from over. During the meeting, the community expressed unanimous and complete opposition to the project. However, the Soloviev Group presented a proposal of affordable housing, green spaces, and infrastructure. This project would only go forward, and be feasible, with a granted gaming license from the NYS Gaming Commission. Without that, it cannot move forward.

Sutton Area Community Board (SAC) along with Community Board Six (CB6) has rejected The Soloviev Group’s proposal.
