New Greenway Security Cameras – Update

Great news! After several months of follow-up and collaboration with Councilman Keith Powers, we have received confirmation that funding for the new security cameras along the New Greenway has been secured. These cameras are expected to be installed by the summer of 2025. Once installed, they will be connected to the 17th Precinct, providing 24/7 security monitoring.

A huge thank you to Keith Powers’ Council Office #4, Julie Menin’s Council Office #5, and Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine for their support and funding of this project. We are very grateful to everyone involved, including the 17th Precinct, for their efforts in making this happen.
